NPSS is the IEEE Technical Society that covers the fields of Fusion technology, Nuclear sciences, Radiation effects, Plasma sciences and applications and Computer applications in nuclear and plasma sciences. NPSS chapter started recruitments in January, wherein there is a total strength of 60 students. It gives IEEE membership to one of the member in the chapter which will be very useful in their career .Then orientation program was conducted on January 9th , 2019. It is about the introduction of chapter to newly recruit students and was an breaking session to them. Members of the chapter were divided are divided into various departments like Technical, Design, Management, Event, Documentation, Publicity, so that works will be given with respective to their departments during events, conferences etc.. This makes the chapter members to improve their abilities, explore the talent in them and can know more about the advance changes done in the field of nuclear sciences and their applications. So that we get to know and also make other people to know about how various things that can be generated by using Fusion technology, Plasma sciences, Pulsed systems etc..
